Cat Stevens
This is a pretty good collection overall, featuring 20 hits and should've-been-hits from the voluminous Cat Stevens catalog, including cuts from the Harold and Maude soundtrack. But there are also important omissions here, like "Wild World." For that, you'll need to go back to the Tea for the Tillerman LP, or shoulder some overlap by getting the mid-'70s Greatest Hits package. It actually wouldn't be such a bad idea to snap up some original Cat Stevens albums--Tea for the Tillerman and Teaser and the Firecat are thick with hits, and each has a certain...cohesiveness that's lost when not heard in its entirety. --Gavin McNett
