Katchafire

2007 album from the New Zealand Dub/Reggae outfit. Following on from the their fellow New Zealand luminaries such as Salmonella Dub, Shapeshifter and Fat Freddy's Drop, the next NZ act set to take Australia by storm are Katchafire. Formed in 1997, named after a Bob Marley album, and playing their brand of Dub/Reggae that is massively popular over the 'ditch', Katchafire have built their formidable reputation on the back of an insane touring schedule. They currently play three to four nights a week in NZ as well as touring around the world to countries as varied as the UK, Europe, United States, Guam and, of course, Australia. Virgin.
